So Im in H-town right now to visit my grandparents, which rocks. Houston is great, I love this city, and if it wasnt so expensive, I would totally move back. Heres to hoping.

Started school on Wednesday, actually, correction, I was supposedto start school on Wednesday, however, I went to Santo with Sonya on Tuesday night, and, needless to say, I didnt quite make it to all my classes on the first day...So yeah, lets get this semester started on the right foot. International Relations is going to be a blast. Dr. J is one of my favorite professors, and he lets me go off somewhat uncensored. Plus his course is one of the few polisci classes that isn't in read-lecture-test format. There is a lot of dialogue, its engaging and I like it. Downside, my archnemesis from high school government is my classmate. Six years later and I thought I had finally rid myself of Mr. Calhoun...ah the irony. Macro should be a breeze. The final is optional, bonus. Didnt make it to logic, and Western Political Theory is tought by a woman who's trademark segway between topics is "So, Anyways...", coupled with the obligatory hair flip. Jeebus...

Need to get in touch with Stefan about independent study. Maybe that can wait untill I find out if my financial aid is even going to clear this semester.

Sams was really cool on Tuesday. Totally worth not making it to class on the first day. Placed second, which is the first time Ive ever made it out of the first round. Plus Danny and some others from Austin came down, and Ria hosted. It was awesome. The whole trip was only slightly overshadowed by my speedometers decision to quit working once we hit Bexar County, which was great. I didnt have that many problems on the way home though, well, not enough to deter me from taking a second road trip to Houston anyway....


Well, its time to hit Foley's...my G-Mo wants to go shopping, and who and I to deny her?
